Our contracting company is a licensed, bonded, and insured Home Improvement Contractor in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. dba Vaughan Construction + Management operates as a hands-on General Contracting, Construction Management and Design/Build firm implementing a complete array of remodeling, construction and building services. The company handles approximately 25 home remodeling projects annually, typically including 2-3 new construction or entire-house renovation. We welcome the opportunity to construct your project based on your existing plans, or we will work with you from start to finish with our Design/Build team.

In addition to the actual construction and regardless of the size of your project, we will navigate you through the construction processes and stages, design issues and materials selections, as well as architectural drawings, construction budgets, and securing the proper building permits.

For the last decade The Vaughan Group, through Vaughan Properties, has purchased and developed certain projects for resale. Our primary focus has been on small, uninhabitable, infill projects in Northwest Washington, DC. These boutique projects rely on Keith Vaughan’s dedication to independent and high quality design, resulting in unique and exceptional spaces for each end-user. Each of these projects differed in size and scope – and design – but each employed the same high standards of workmanship that make them stand out in their respective neighborhoods. Recent projects include several multi-unit condominium buildings and single-family residences in the neighborhoods of Lanier Heights/Adams Morgan and Chevy Chase.
